As a secondary pollutant of photochemical pollution, peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN) has attracted a close attention. A four-month campaign was conducted at a rural site in North China Plain (NCP) including the measurement of PAN, O3, NOx, PM2.5, oxygenated volatile organic compounds (OVOCs), photolysis rate constants of NO2 and O3 and meteorological parameters to investigate the wintertime characterization of photochemistry from November 2018 to February 2019. The results showed that the maximum and mean values of PAN were 4.38 and 0.93 ± 0.67 ppbv during the campaign, respectively. The PAN under different PM2.5 concentrations from below 75 μg/m3 up to 250 μg/m3, showed different diurnal variation and formation rate. In the PM2.5 concentration range of above 250 μg/m3, PAN had the largest daily mean value of 0.64 ppbv and the fastest production rate of 0.33 ppbv/hr. From the perspective of PAN's production mechanism, the light intensity and precursors concentrations under different PM2.5 pollution levels indicated that there were sufficient light intensity and high volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and NOx precursors concentration even under severe pollution level to generate a large amount of PAN. Moreover, the bimodal staggering phenomenon of PAN and PM2.5 provided a basis that PAN might aggravate haze through secondary organic aerosols (SOA) formation.  相似文献

This paper clarifies household income, living and working conditions of dumpsite waste pickers at Bantar Gebang final disposal site for municipal solid waste generated in Jakarta, and investigates the feasibility of integrating the informal sector into formal waste management in Indonesia. The first author did fieldwork for totally 16 months at the site and quantitative field surveys were conducted twice during the period. All respondents in the first round quantitative survey (n = 1390) were categorized as follows: waste pickers, family workers, wage labors, bosses, family of the bosses, housewives, pupils/students, preschoolers, the unemployed, and others. Based on the results of the second round quantitative survey (n = 69 households), their average household income was estimated to be approximately US 216 dollars per month (n = 59 households), which was virtually equivalent to the minimum wage in Jakarta in 2013. Living conditions of scavengers at the site were horrible, and their working conditions were dangerous due to medical waste and other sharp waste. Polluted groundwater was one of the serious environmental problems at the site. Despite the social, health and environmental problems, they were attracted to the freedom of entering the informal recycling system in Bantar Gebang and withdrawing from the system, in which a lot of opportunities were provided for the people having few marketable skills to obtain cash earnings. The freedom of their choice should be guaranteed as a prerequisite before integrating the informal sector into formal waste management. Furthermore, special attentions are required when incomes of scavengers are the same level as minimum wages and the national economy is rapidly growing, because scavengers cannot easily change their jobs due to few marketable skills. Indonesian national waste laws and regulations should be properly applied to facilitate a socialization process at final disposal sites. Measures need to be taken to prevent children from working as informal recycling actors, especially for waste pickers aged 15 or younger.  相似文献

为研究焦化厂地下水中美国EPA优先控制的16种多环芳烃(PAHs)的分布特点和污染来源,本研究联合使用统计技术、正定矩阵因子分析(PMF)模型和风险商值法,深入分析了焦化厂地下水中PAHs的分布规律,定量解析了PAHs的污染来源,并且对其生态风险进行了科学评价.结果表明,焦化厂地下水中16种PAHs的总检出率较高,达到46.7%.地下水中∑16PAHs的浓度范围是n.d.~444.9μg·L-1,均值为1.88μg·L-1.不同生产车间地下水中PAHs的浓度存在明显差异,其中污染最重的车间位于焦油精制区,地下水中∑16PAHs的浓度为444.92μg·L-1.应用PMF源解析模型,识别出该焦化厂地下水中PAHs有二类污染源:一是石油的燃烧源,二是煤和生物质燃烧以及石油类的泄漏,二种污染源对焦化厂地下水中PAHs的贡献率分别为38.6%和61.4%.焦化厂地下水中∑16PAHs处在高生态风险等级,且有53.4%的地下水采样点单体PAHs的生态风险处在高风险等...  相似文献

● The airborne bacteria in landfills were 4–50 times higher than fungi. ● Bioaerosols released from the working area would pose risk to on-site workers. ● The safe distance for the working area should be set as 80 m. Landfills are widely complained about due to the long-term odor and landfill gas emissions for local residents, while the bioaerosols are always neglected as another threat to on-site workers. In this study, bioaerosols samples were collected from the typical operation scenes in the large-scale modern landfill, and the emission levels of airborne bacteria, pathogenic species, and fungi were quantified and co-related. The corresponding exposure risks were assessed based on the average daily dose via inhalation and skin contact. It was found that the levels of culturable bacteria and fungi in all landfill samples were around 33–22778 CFU/m3 and 8–450 CFU/m3, and the active-working landfill area and the covered area were the maximum and minimum emission sources, respectively, meaning that the bioaerosols were mainly released from the areas related with the fresh waste operation. Acinetobacter sp., Massilia sp., Methylobacterium-Methylorubrum sp. and Noviherbaspirillum sp. were the main bacterial populations, with a percentage of 42.56%, 89.82%, 70.24% and 30.20% respectively in total bioaerosols measured. With regards to the health risk, the health risks via inhalation were the main potential risks, with four orders of magnitude higher than that of skin contact. Active-working area showed the critical point for non-carcinogenic risks, with a hazard quotient of 1.68, where 80 m protection distance is recommended for on-site worker protection, plus more careful protection measures.  相似文献

秸秆生物炭吸附对乙酰氨基酚的机制及其位能分布特征   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
作为药品和个人护理产品(PPCPs)中用量最大的一类,对乙酰氨基酚广泛存在于水环境中,具有潜在的环境风险;因此,有必要对其去除机制开展研究.基于我国农业秸秆资源高值转化的需求,通过热解制备秸秆生物炭吸附净化水中对乙酰氨基酚具有良好的应用前景.然而秸秆生物炭对对乙酰氨基酚的吸附过程和机制尚不清楚.选用4种秸秆(稻秆、麦秆、玉米秆和大豆秆)作为原料,通过热裂解在400℃和500℃制备生物炭,进行序批吸附实验,同时研究腐殖酸和pH对吸附过程的影响.结果表明,基于Freundlich模型和位置能量分布模型可知,500℃生物炭对对乙酰氨基酚的吸附量显著高于400℃生物炭(吸附系数KF高出1.16~2.53倍),且具有较多的高能吸附位点.高温热解生物炭的主要吸附机制为孔道吸附和π-π作用;低温热解生物炭的主要吸附机制为表面氢键作用.腐殖酸对对乙酰氨基酚在生物炭上的去除具有协同效应,这归因于所选腐殖酸具有一定芳香性,可促进与对乙酰氨基酚的相互作用.pH升高抑制生物炭吸附主要归因于对乙酰氨基酚团聚.吸附机制研究表明,可通过提高热解温度促进对乙酰氨基酚在秸秆生物炭上的孔道吸附和π-π作用;腐殖酸和pH影响研究表明,秸秆生物炭与对乙酰氨基酚的相互作用不受腐殖酸影响,在低pH环境下也具有良好吸附性能.  相似文献

在传统土壤评价方法的理论基础上,参考模糊数学的架构,建立了由风险因素集、风险评价集、隶属度函数、评估矩阵和权重系数组成的评价模型,最终形成了一套场地重金属污染风险的综合评价方法.选取安徽铜陵某冶炼厂作为研究场地,分析场地土壤中重金属的污染情况并验证该评价模型的科学性.结果表明,研究场地内表层土壤重金属含量平均值分别为As(1382mg/kg)、Cd(64.9mg/kg)、Cu(4973mg/kg)、Pb(3403mg/kg),As和Pb污染严重.相比于传统土壤评价方法,综合评价方法考虑重金属的人体健康风险、地下水迁移风险和生态风险3个方面,插值后不同风险所占面积比例为安全(25.3%)、低风险(5.86%)、中风险(9.00%)、高风险(59.9%).与内梅罗指数法对比,综合评价风险结果中的高风险区域面积下降了9.50%,而中风险、低风险和安全区域的面积则分别上升了约3.54%、3.83%和1.20%,整体风险有所降低.与传统土壤评价方法对比,基于模糊数学模型的综合评价方法不局限于重金属总量单一因素对土壤污染风险水平的限制,根据场地实际情况及土地二次利用途径对其进行更加详细的污染风险评...  相似文献
